The driver of the Chrysler Pacifica was pronounced dead at the scene

Shelby County, IN. – One person was killed in a head-on collision on Thursday morning in Shelby County.
According to the authorities, the crash happened on 600 South and State Road 9 at around 7:45 a.m.
A westbound 2017 Chrysler Pacifica on 600 South veered into the eastbound lane and collided with an oncoming Kenworth tanker truck.
The driver of the Pacifica was pronounced dead at the scene.
The 28-year-old Kenworth driver was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
A juvenile passenger in a Chrysler Pacifica was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
