Troopers said a white 2007 Chevy Trailblazer was driving on the inside lane of I-95 North when the driver lost control of the vehicle and drifted into the left shoulder, drove back into the inside lane.

Boynton Beach, FL. – Two men were killed after a traffic collision on Monday morning in Boynton Beach, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

The accident occurred at 5:47 a.m. on February 23, on I-95 North, just after Boynton Beach Boulevard.

Troopers said a white 2007 Chevy Trailblazer was driving on the inside lane of I-95 North when the driver lost control of the vehicle and drifted into the left shoulder, drove back into the inside lane. The Chevy then lost control and swerved into the right shoulder and crashed into a metal guardrail. The car then rolled over.

The passenger, a 38-year-old Black male from Boynton Beach, was thrown off the car and rested on the road.

The driver, a 31-year-old Hispanic male from Lake Worth, was declared dead at Delray Medical Center.

Troopers closed all northbound lanes of I-95 for several hours following the collision.
