The pedestrian was killed in the accident

Tucson, AZ. – A pedestrian was killed in a hit-and-run accident in Tucson on Sunday night, according to the Arizona DPS.
The fatal accident happened just after 9:30 p.m. on February 22, on Interstate 10 near Grant Road.
DPS said a female pedestrian was standing on the right shoulder of the freeway when she walked in front of a westbound Honda Civic and was hit.
The pedestrian was killed in the accident.
The Honda driver stopped, examined the car and then fled the scene.
No additional details were available.
