The driver of the Jeep was airlifted to Lutheran Hospital with serious injuries
Jay County, IN. – A 50-year-old man was killed in a two-vehicle crash on Friday night in Jay County.
According to local police, the crash occurred at the intersection of State Road 18 and County Road West 750 North at around 7:30 p.m.
A 50-year-old man was driving a 2015 Chevy Silverado eastbound on SR 18 when he veered into the westbound lanes and collided head-on with a 2016 Jeep Wrangler driven by a 39-year-old woman.
The driver of the Silverado was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Jeep was airlifted to Lutheran Hospital with serious injuries.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
