Elkhart County, IN. – Two children were killed in a crash involving a horse-drawn buggy on Friday morning in Elkhart County.
According to the Elkhart County Sheriff’s Office, the crash happened in the 13000 block of State Road Four at around 8 a.m.
A pickup truck was traveling westbound on State Road 4 when it slammed into the back of a buggy.
Police say there were four children in the buggy.
Two children were pronounced dead at the scene.
Two children were taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
The condition of the pickup driver remains unknown.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
