Police said a driver lost control of a vehicle in unclear circumstances and the vehicle rolled over.
Chicago, IL. – Two Chicago’s Empire Dance team members were killed, three hurt after a traffic collision early Thursday morning in Chicago, according to the Illinois State Police.
The accident occurred at about 1:15 a.m. on February 19 on northbound Bishop Ford Freeway near 111th Street.
Police said a driver lost control of a vehicle in unclear circumstances and the vehicle rolled over.
Two people were declared dead at the crash site. Three other persons were transported to local hospitals. One of the patients was in a critical condition while another broke legs.
A third victim sustained minor injuries and was treated and released from the hospital.
The incident remains under investigation.
