Lee County, FL. – At least one person was injured after a traffic collision on Thursday morning in Lee County, according to the South Trail Fire Protection and Rescue Service District.
The accident occurred at around 11:00 a.m. on February 19, on Summerlin Road and FWS Parkway.
Authorities said two vehicles were involved in the crash.
At least one person was taken to the hospital for treatment of injuries.
Debris from the accident including an engine block was found on the roadway.
Drivers were warned of expected delays as the debris was cleared.
