Las Vegas, NV. – An 80-year-old man was killed in a collision on Sunday night in Las Vegas.
According to the authorities, the accident occurred on East Lake Mead Boulevard at North Lamb Boulevard at around 7:30 p.m.
An SUV was traveling westbound on Lake Mead Boulevard when it struck the 80-year-old man who was riding a scooter.
The man was ejected and was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
The driver fled the scene but was later located and booked for hit-and-run charges.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
