Okaloosa County, FL. – A 74-year-old Niceville woman was killed after a pedestrian accident on Saturday morning in Okaloosa County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

The accident happened a while before 11:30 a.m. on February 14, on Bluewater Boulevard at Caribbean Way.

Troopers said a 74-year-old Niceville woman was walking northbound within the pedestrian lane when a northbound sedan drove into the lane. The woman was hit by the right front of the sedan.

The pedestrian was declared dead at the scene.

The sedan driver, an 86-year-old woman, was not injured in the collision.

No additional information concerning this crash was provided.
