Chicago, IL. – A 33-year-old woman was severely injured after a hit-and-run accident on Tuesday evening in the Old Town on Chicago’s North Side, according to the Chicago Police Department.

The accident happened at 8:15 p.m. on February 8, at North Clybourn Avenue and West Division Street.

Police said the woman was riding a scooter when she was hit by a Honda Civic heading northwest on Clybourn.

The woman was transported to Northwestern Hospital in critical condition, but she is now in a stable condition with a knee injury.

The involved driver fled the scene after the collision.
