Three drivers were taken to the hospital with minor injuries
Fort Wayne, IN. – Three people were injured in a car crash on Wednesday morning in Fort Wayne.
According to the Allen County Sheriff Department, the crash happened on Interstate 469 just south of the Stellhorn Road overpass at around 12:08 a.m.
A semi-truck was travelling southbound on I-469 when it went off the roadway and struck the Stellhorn Road overpass and a pole at a construction site.
The truck lost its load and pushed a construction pole into the southbound lanes.
A tow truck then struck the pole, causing it to hit a temporary concrete median.
A semi-truck traveling north also hit the concrete median wall.
Three drivers were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
