Las Vegas, NV. – A Nevada State Police trooper was hospitalized following a suspected DUI crash on Tuesday morning in Las Vegas.
According to Nevada Highway Patrol, the accident happened on Valley View Boulevard at Meadows Mall, near Interstate 11, at around 1:48 a.m.
A Nissan sedan crashed into a Nevada State Police Ford cruiser.
A trooper was inside the Ford at the time of the crash.
The trooper was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The Nissan driver showed signs of impairment and was booked on DUI charges.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
