Galena, IL. – One person was killed after a deadly collision on Sunday night in Galena, according to the Galena Police Department.
The accident occurred at about 7:15 p.m. on February 8, on Illinois Route 20 West.
Police said a vehicle crashed in unclear circumstances.

The driver stayed at the crash site, and they performed life-saving measures on the passenger before the rescue team arrived.
The male passenger was transported to Midwest Medical Center where he succumbed to his injuries.
The driver was also transported to the hospital for treatment.
No one has been charged.
An investigation is underway.
