Harvey, IL. – A driver was killed after a traffic collision on Sunday night in Harvey, Chicago, according to the Illinois State Police.
The accident occurred at 11:58 p.m. on February 8, on the I-57 northbound ramp to 147th Street.
Police said a Chevrolet Tahoe hit a wall in unclear circumstances. The driver was thrown out of the vehicle.
The driver was declared dead at the crash site.
At first police reported the driver was a pedestrian.
The lanes were closed and later reopened at 3:47 a.m.
No additional information regarding this crash was provided.
