Indianapolis, IN. – One person was killed in a two-vehicle crash on Sunday night in Indianapolis.
According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, the crash occurred in the 1500 block of Massachusetts Avenue, just south of Interstate 70, at around 11 p.m.
A Jeep SUV and a Chevy SUV were involved in a collision. The circumstances surrounding the collision were not immediately determined. One of the SUVs crashed into a utility pole after the collision.
The driver of the Jeep was transported to the hospital in critical condition, where he later succumbed to injuries.
The driver of the Chevy SUV was in stable condition on Monday morning.
The Chevy driver did not show signs of impairment.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
