Vancouver, WA. – A woman was killed in a pedestrian accident on Friday morning in Vancouver, according to the police.
The fatal accident happened around 9:00 a.m. at the intersection of NE 162nd Avenue and NE Poplar Street.
Police said a woman was struck by a vehicle at the intersection in unclear circumstances.
The woman was taken a local hospital where she later died.
The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.
The Vancouver Police Department Traffic Unit is investigating the accident.
