Jacksonville, IL. – Three persons were hurt following a traffic collision on Tuesday morning in Jacksonville, according to the Jacksonville Police Department.
The accident happened at around 8:10 a.m. on February 3, on West Morton Avenue, east of South Church Street on West Morton Avenue.
Police said an Illinois Department of Transportation truck was preparing to put out road signs while a vehicle driver was looking into the other lane. The two vehicles ultimately crashed.
Three persons were hurt in the collision.
The roadway was closed following the accident. Part of West Morton Avenue reopened after around half an hour.
No other information concerning this accident was released.
