Niles, IL. – A pedestrian was hit by a sport-utility vehicle early Tuesday morning in Niles, north Chicago suburb, according to the Niles Police Department.
The accident happened on February 3, in the 5600 block of West Touhy Avenue.
Police said the pedestrian was struck by a sport-utility car in the busy stretch of Touhy Avenue in unclear circumstances.
The pedestrian’s condition was not immediately known.
Touhy Avenue was closed in both directions between Central and Lehigh Avenues.
