Police said a black Ford sedan and a black Kia SUV crashed in unclear circumstances. A truck-tractor hit one of the vehicles from the first crash and it pushed a vehicle into an ambulance.

Hoffman Estates, IL. –Two people were injured including an EMS Worker after a traffic accident on Monday morning in Hoffman Estates, according to Illinois State Police.
The accident occurred at around 1:59 a.m. February 2, on I-95.
Police said a black Ford sedan and a black Kia SUV crashed in unclear circumstances. A truck-tractor hit one of the vehicles from the first crash and it pushed a vehicle into an ambulance.
A second semi tried to halt and the hand braking pushed its trailer load to shift and damaged the truck.
The EMS driver, A-TEC Ambulance employee, was at the crash site. He was transported to Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge.
The semi-truck driver was injured and was transported to a local hospital.
The Ford driver was arrested for DUI.
Police closed all westbound lanes and traffic diverted at Barrington Road. The roadway was reopened at around 8:15 a.m.
No additional information concerning this crash was provided.
