Palm Beach Garden, FL. – An 81-year-old woman was killed after a pedestrian accident last week Tuesday in Palm Beach Gardens, according to the Palm Beach Gardens Police Department.
The accident happened a while before 8:25 a.m. January 27, at Palm Beach Gardens Police Department.
Police said the woman was struck by a dump truck at the intersection. The woman was in a crosswalk at the time.
Responding officers conducted live saving measures before the medics arrived. The woman was rushed to the St. Mary’s Medical Center with critical injuries.
On January 29, officers were notified the pedestrian succumbed to her injuries.
The driver, a 65-year-old, was cited for not yielding to a pedestrian in a crosswalk.
