The woman was taken to the hospital, where she died days later
Tucson, AZ. – A woman who was injured in December in a pedestrian accident in Tucson has died, according to the police.
The accident happened around 7:00 p.m. on December 27, in the 1200 block of West Ajo Way near Interstate 19.
Police said the woman was walking outside of a crosswalk when she was struck by a vehicle.
The woman was taken to the hospital, where she died days later.
A person who was walking with the woman was uninjured in the accident.
The driver was not impaired and was not driving at a high rate of speed at the time of the accident.
The police are investigating the accident.
