The driver of the Freightliner was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries.

Crook County, OR. – One person was killed and another was seriously injured in a head-on collision in Crook County on Wednesday morning, according to the police.
The fatal collision happened around 9:04 a.m. on Highway 126 near milepost 7.
Police said a Jeep Cherokee was traveling westbound when it crossed the centerline, for unknown reasons, and collided head-on with an eastbound Freightliner box truck.
The Jeep driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Freightliner was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries.
Authorities are investigating the accident.
