Adams County, IL. – One person was killed after a traffic collision on Thursday afternoon in Adams County, according to the Adams County Sheriff’s Office.
The accident occurred a while after 3:00 p.m. January 29, on I-172.
Deputies said an SUV and a semi-truck crashed for reasons still under investigation.
One individual was killed in the crash.
No one else was injured due to the collision.
Deputies closed I-72 from Exit 10 to Exit 2 for several hours to give way to an on-scene investigation.
