Polk County, OR. – One person was killed in a car crash that occurred in Polk County on Saturday night, according to Oregon State Police.
The crash happened on Highway 22 near milepost 16, between the Highway 223 exit and Highway 22, at around 11:32 p.m. on January 24.
Investigators said a westbound Chrysler Town and Country van left the roadway for unknown reasons, rolled over, and ejected the driver during the crash.
The driver was killed in the accident.
The fatal car accident remains under investigation by Oregon State Police, who were assisted at the scene by the Polk County Sheriff’s Office.
