Authorities said a single vehicle was heading eastbound on US 50 when it drove off the roadway and rolled over.
Ferrin, IL. – A 33–year-old man from Clinton County was killed and two others were hurt after a rollover collision early Thursday morning near Ferrin, Clinton County.
According to the Clinton Coroner’s Office, the accident occurred on U.S. 50 at Creek Road east of Carlye.
Authorities said a single vehicle was heading eastbound on US 50 when it drove off the roadway and rolled over.
The man was killed in the collision. Two other persons were taken to an area hospital for treatment.
The roadway was closed for a longer period of time and was reopened at around 7:10 a.m. on Thursday.
An investigation is underway.
