Albuquerque, N.M. – A juvenile was injured in a motorcycle accident on Thursday afternoon in Albuquerque.
According to the Albuquerque Police Department, the accident happened near the intersection of Edith Boulevard and La Donna Lane NE at around 4 p.m.
Two juveniles were riding their minibikes heading south on Edith Boulevard NE.
A juvenile traveling on the shoulder reportedly continued south and entered oncoming northbound traffic and was struck by a northbound 2021 Hyundai Elantra.
The juvenile was ejected from the minibike and was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The second juvenile was not injured.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
