Curry County, N.M. – A 21-year-old was killed in a crash involving a semi-truck on Wednesday evening in Curry County.
According to the Curry County Sheriff’s Office, the accident happened at the intersection of State Street and Wheeler Avenue.
The 21-year-old was driving southbound on State Street when he failed to stop at the intersection and collided with a semi-truck.
The 21-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene.
The semi-truck driver sustained minor injuries and was transported to Plains Regional Medical Center for treatment.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
