Police said the girls were driving on N Mulford Road when their vehicle lost control and hit a stone sign.
Rockford, IL. – Two cousins, an 18-year-old girl and 14-year-old girl were killed in a traffic crash on Friday in Rockford.
According to the Rockford Police, the accident happened on January 16 on N. Mulford Road.
Police said the girls were driving on N Mulford Road when their vehicle lost control and hit a stone sign.
The two girls were rushed to the hospital where they died.
Snow was reported to be on the roadway at the time but police are yet to determine the cause of the collision.
No other information regarding this crash was provided.
