Longview, WA. – Two people were killed in a Sunday afternoon car accident in Longview, according to the WSP.
The fatal collision happened around 4:51 p.m. on January 18 on SR 432 near Memorial Park Drive.
WSP said a white 2008 Chevrolet Malibu was traveling westbound, approaching a curve, when it drove forward, left the roadway, and ended up on its top in the slough.
The driver, a 58-year-old Kelso man, and his passenger, a 28-year-old Kelso man, were pronounced dead at the scene.
The passenger was wearing a seatbelt, while the driver was not wearing it.
Speed was a factor in the accident.
