Troopers said a Jeep and a Saturn vehicle collided in unclear circumstances.
Oak Park, IL. – One person was killed after a traffic collision early Sunday morning in Oak Park.
According to the Illinois State Police, the accident occurred at around 2:53 a.m. on January 18, on I-290 (Eisenhower Expressway).
Troopers said a Jeep and a Saturn vehicle collided in unclear circumstances.
One person was thrown out of the vehicle and was declared dead at the crash site.
A second individual was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
All lanes were reopened at 9:35 a.m.
No additional details regarding this crash were released.
