Tucson, AZ. – A 34-year-old woman was killed in a pedestrian accident in Tucson’s southwest side last Friday, according to the Pima County Sheriff’s Department.

The fatal accident happened around 8:00 p.m. on January 9, on Valencia Road just west of Casino Del Sol.

PCSD said the woman was standing in the roadway and was wearing dark-colored clothing that did not have any reflective material when she was struck by a westbound vehicle.

The woman was also struck by a second vehicle. Both drivers stayed at the scene.

A third vehicle also struck the woman, but it fled the scene after the accident.

The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.

The third vehicle was described as a lifted truck with large chrome wheels.

PCSD is investigating the accident.
