Indianapolis, IN. – A woman was killed in a car crash on Thursday morning in Indianapolis.
According to the Indiana State Police, the accident happened around 4:45 a.m. on eastbound Interstate 70 near Sam Jones Expressway.
A 2011 Kia was traveling eastbound on Interstate 70 when the driver lost control and struck the concrete median barrier
The car then crossed all lanes to the right and hit a parked semi-truck.
The Kia driver was extricated from the wreck and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The semi-truck driver was unhurt in the crash
