Lombard, IL. – Five people were injured following a multi-vehicle collision on Tuesday afternoon in Lombard, according to the Illinois State Police.
The accident happened on Illinois Route 53 and the Illinois Prairie Path on December 23.

Five people were transported to area hospitals for treatment.
The SUV sustained significant damage to the passenger side and was towed away. Another vehicle was also towed away.
