Four people were injured in the collision and were taken to hospital for treatment
Washington County, IL. – Four people were injured in a car accident that happened on Friday evening near Nashville in Washington County.
According to the Illinois State Police, the accident happened on Interstate 64 at mile marker 59 at around 7:28 p.m.
A 38-year-old from Olmstead, Kentucky, was driving a white GMC truck-tractor semi-trailer when he crashed into the rear of a gray Toyota van driven by a 35-year-old from New Harmony, Indiana.
The van then hit a red Ford passenger car driven by a 30-year-old from Alton, Illinois.
Four people were injured in the collision and were taken to hospital for treatment.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
