The driver of the Ford was airlifted to a hospital in Libertyville where she was listed in critical condition
Woodstock, IL. – Three people were hospitalized after being injured in a collision on Tuesday afternoon, February 25, near Woodstock in McHenry County.
According to the McHenry County Sheriff’s Office, the accident happened in the 15200 block of Kishwaukee Valley Road at around 4:18 p.m.
A 2022 Chevrolet Equinox driven by a 62-year-old woman was stopped in the eastbound lane waiting to turn left turn into a driveway when it was rear-ended by a 2000 Ford van driven by a 19-year-old woman.
The Ford then drove into the westbound lane where it collided with a 2019 Honda CRV head-on.
The driver of the Ford was airlifted to a hospital in Libertyville where she was listed in critical condition.
A 22-year-old male passenger of the Ford was also injured and was taken to the hospital in stable condition.
The 37-year-old driver of the Honda was hospitalized in stable condition.
The 62-year-old driver of the Chevrolet was not injured.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
