Two patients had to be airlifted by helicopter and one by ambulance

Hernando County, FL. – Three people were hospitalized after being injured in a collision involving a semi-truck on Saturday afternoon in Hernando County.
According to Hernando County Fire Rescue, the accident happened around 12 p.m. at the intersection of Cortez Boulevard and South Main Street.
A semi-truck reportedly collided with a car in unclear circumstances.
Three occupants of the car were transported to a local trauma center. Two patients had to be airlifted by helicopter and one by ambulance.
