All three drivers were transported to a local hospital with minor injuries
Grundy County, IL. – Three people were hospitalized following a multi-vehicle collision on Friday morning in Grundy County.
According to the police, the accident happened around 7:25 a.m. on Interstate 80 eastbound near mile marker 109.
A passenger vehicle struck the rear of a semi-truck in unclear circumstances. The impact of the collision sent the car into the center median where it hit a stationary Illinois State Police squad car.
All three drivers were transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.
