West Phoenix, TX – Three people were injured, two severely, after a traffic collision in west Phoenix late Monday morning, according to Phoenix police.
The incident happened around 11:30 a.m. on March 10 near 48th Drive and McDowell Road around 11:30 am.
Authorities said two vehicles were involved in the collision.
Fire personnel responded to the scene and transported three people to the hospital. Two of the patients sustained life-threatening injuries.
The condition of the third person was not immediately released.
McDowell Road was shut down between 50th Avenue and 47th Avenue as investigators worked to determine what led up to the collision.
The incident remains under investigation.
