Escambia County, FL- Three people were injured in a multi-vehicle collision involving a big rig in Escambia County on Monday morning, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The incident took place on Interstate 10 near mile marker 7.5 at about 8 a.m. March 24.
According to FHP, a tractor-trailer was traveling eastbound on I-10 when it hydroplaned and went across the median into the westbound side.
The rig collided with the left side of a westbound truck tractor.
The impact caused the truck tractor to hit the left side of a westbound sedan.
The sedan was sent off the roadway and it overturned.
The three involved drivers were transported with critical injuries.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
