The driver of the second car was taken to the hospital with serious injuries
Gibson County, IN. – At least two people were injured in a car accident that happened in Gibson County on Sunday, January 26.
According to the police, the accident happened on State Route 165 near 1000 West.
26-year-old Yoaris Lopez, of Henderson, was driving a truck when he drifted across the centerline and collided head-on with another car.
A tire flew off in the crash and hit a third car.
The driver of the second car was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
Lopez was taken to the hospital before being arrested on suspicion of DUI.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
