One person was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries
Quincy, IL. – One person was killed in a collision on Wednesday morning in Quincy.
According to Illinois State Police, the accident happened around 9:15 a.m. on Interstate 172 near the West St. Anthony Road overpass.
A passenger car and a pickup truck that was the “pilot car” for an oversized load were involved in the accident.
One person was killed in the accident, according to the Adams County Coroner.
One person was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.
The Adams County Sheriff’s Office and Illinois State Police are investigating the accident.
