The man riding the motorcycle was ejected and was struck by a Toyota Corolla that was on the inside lane
Pasco County, FL. – One person was killed in a multi-vehicle collision on Wednesday evening in New Port Richey.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the accident happened around 6:58 p.m. on SR-54 at the intersection of Riverrun Road.
A 61-year-old woman driving a Nissan SUV east on SR-54 when she turned left into the path of a Yamaha motorcycle that was traveling west on SR-54.
The 50-year-old Holiday man riding the motorcycle was ejected and was struck by a Toyota Corolla that was on the inside lane.
The motorcyclist died at the scene.
The SUV driver suffered minor injuries in the accident.
The driver of the Toyota was unhurt.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
