Phoenix, AZ. – A man died after being struck by a car early Thursday morning in south Phoenix.
According to the Phoenix Police Department, the fatal pedestrian accident happened around 4:40 a.m. in the area of 39th Avenue and Buckeye Road.
A vehicle is reported to have struck a pedestrian in unclear circumstances.
The pedestrian was found unresponsive and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the involved car stayed at the scene and cooperated with the police.
