Las Vegas, NV. – A pedestrian died after being struck by a car early Monday morning in Las Vegas.
According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, the accident happened around 2:17 a.m. at the intersection of North Martin L. King Boulevard and Vegas Drive.
A 2020 Kia Optima was traveling southbound on North Martin L. King Boulevard when it failed to stop for a red traffic signal at the intersection.
The pedestrian was crossing west in the marked crosswalk and was hit by a Kia.
The driver did not stop at the scene and was yet to be located.
