The man driving the Ford Fusion was transported to Stroger Hospital where he died
Chicago, IL. – One person was killed in a collision that left five others injured near Midway Airport in Chicago early Thursday morning.
According to Chicago police, the accident happened at 5600 West 55th Street at around 3:30 a.m.
A Ford Fusion made a U-turn in the area and was hit by a Hyundai Palisade.
The 28-year-old man driving the Ford Fusion was transported to Stroger Hospital where he died while receiving treatment.
At least five people were hospitalized with unknown injuries.
More details about the collision were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
