Authorities said a 31-year-old Salem resident was traveling south in the northbound lanes of I-5 in a silver Honda Civic when they crashed head-on into a northbound white Acura ZDX.

Woodburn, OR. – One person was killed after a head-on collision on Monday night in Woodburn, Marion County, according to the Oregon State Police.
The accident occurred a while before 8:00 p.m. on March 30, on Interstate 5.
Authorities said a 31-year-old Salem resident was traveling south in the northbound lanes of I-5 in a silver Honda Civic when they crashed head-on into a northbound white Acura ZDX.
The Salem resident was declared dead at the crash site.
The Acura driver, a 43-year-old Beaverton, was transported to the hospital with minor injuries.
No additional information concerning this crash was provided.
An investigation is underway.
