Adams County, IN. – A 16-year-old Decatur resident was killed in a crash involving a horse-drawn buggy on Friday morning in Washington Township, Adams County.
According to the Adams County Sheriff’s Office, the crash happened at State Road 124 and County Road 200 East at around 2:11 a.m.
A buggy was traveling westbound on State Road 124 when it was struck from behind by a semi-truck.
Medics pronounced a 16-year-old from Decatur dead at the scene.
A teenage boy was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.
It was not immediately clear whether speed or impairment played a role in the crash.
