Tempe, AZ. – A motorcyclist was critically injured in a collision on Monday morning in Tempe.
According to the Tempe Police Department, the accident happened near Baseline Road and Beck Avenue, just east of Priest Drive at around 8 a.m.
A motorcycle was traveling across the intersection and was struck by a car making a left turn.
The motorcyclist was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The collision resulted in the closure of Baseline Road between Beck Avenue and Darrow Drive.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
