One person had to be extricated from the SUV before being transported to Broward Health Medical Center
Fort Lauderdale, FL. – One person was hospitalized after being injured in a collision involving a tractor-trailer on Thursday morning in Fort Lauderdale.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the accident happened on State Road 84 near Interstate 95 at around 6:30 a.m.
An SUV reportedly crashed into the rear of a tractor-trailer.
One person had to be extricated from the SUV before being transported to Broward Health Medical Center by Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue for treatment of serious injuries.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
