One person was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries
Champaign, IL. – One person was hospitalized after being injured in a car accident on Monday afternoon in Champaign.
According to the Champaign Police Department, the accident happened at the intersection of Prospect Avenue and Church Street around 3:20 p.m.
Two vehicles collided at the intersection in unclear circumstances. One of the vehicles reportedly struck a third vehicle.
One person was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
